War risk insurance covers total loss and damages, collision liability, hull/freight interest, loss of hire, P&I liability including occupational injuries, as a consequence of the following perils:

n  War, civil war, revolution, rebellion, insurrection and civil strife resulting therefrom.

n  Torpedoes, mines and all weapons of war, whether derelict or not.

n  Capture, taking at sea, arrest, seizure, restraint or detainment by any government or other authority.

n  Confiscation or expropriation by any government or other authority.

n  Riots, civil commotion, strikes, lockouts and other similar labour disturbances.

n  Piracy.

n  Malicious acts or vandalism, in each case from a political motive or related to war.

n  Acts of sabotage or terrorism, in each case, from a political motive or related to war.
